Pinal County Repo Homes
For those of you that may not know, Pinal County Arizona in the United States of America is located between Phoenix and Tucson. It pretty much takes up the majority of the area between the two big cities. A good portion of it is not the sprawling urban developed area that you might expect to be so heavily embedded into the current crisis or repossessed, Foreclosed and distressed housing currently boosting numbers in both the state and the nation as a whole.
There is however an inordinate amount of properties here that had fallen to the repossession man or the banks. A lot of the problem here in this particular area and actually in the state of Arizona stem from the fact that there are many retired people here. Folks that used life savings to down pay a place to live out the rest of their lives in a warm and dry climate.
Problem is that as the crisis hit, the homes lost value and now these folks can’t afford to live there anymore. Many of them have been forced out of retirement and back into the work force to try and keep up on the bills that they have accumulated by taking out a second or third mortgage in a time when it was easy to get and they wanted to do some improvements on the property to increase it’s value.

A good many of them had planned on selling and cashing in on those improvements and then having enough cash to actually purchase a more modest dwelling free and clear. Then when the current crash happened they were left holding the proverbial bag and the only solutions were to work and try and hold on to a home with rapidly declining value or to just let it be foreclosed or repossessed and start over as a renter.
The numbers here in Pinal County reflect that the decision for a good many of the folks here was to opt to allow repossession or foreclosure because it was the lesser of the two evils they were facing.
The trend in this area is not likely to be reversing any time soon since the numbers are again on an increase after a short reprieve in the month of April. The state is ranked number four in the United States in the number of foreclosed properties and that has been consistent for a long time.
